Neil Rutter, Rob Inett, and Rob Sheard all completed the gruelling challenge and I was happy to support the cause and help them on their way. They all had different reasons for doing the challenge, Neil is celebrating 10 years since he 'beat' cancer and Rob Inett aka big Rob was raising money for his Poole lifeboat crew member who died from cancer a year ago.
Neil has so far raised £3000 for his 4 challenges this year and Big Rob has raised £4000.
I don't think I could do it justice to explain what it was like doing the challenge. I supported them on them as they rode 58 miles (two laps around snowdon), I then joined them on the water whilst they paddle boarded 4 miles and then they swam a mile (all in open water). They then finished the day off by walking up Snowdon in what can only be described as windy, rainy and horrid. As we took to the paths, the wind got stronger and stronger and reached 70mph. The gusts would lift you off your feet, literally.
