Today has been brilliant, there are no other words to describe it with ... well possibly a few, like amusing, interesting, entertaining but mostly brilliant. Lots of laughter, lots of exercise and lots of eating of food!
My day began with an early morning paddle, followed by a circuit session, and then a walk with poppy. Quite rightly I did have first breaky, 2nd breaky and then once home 1st lunch was enjoyed. A little rest, some singing in the kitchen to the radio. Then a great circular 10km run with a friend from work, who creamed it! A great pace and I believe she got a new pb for the distance, happy days :o)
Then in my laid back mentality I realised I needed to get myself organised and pack, work out what time my flight was and pretty much organise myself.
With time to spare, a quick trip to get my tyre repaired on my car, I arrived at Birmingham airport. Once the plane left the Tarmac it touched down in Dublin 40 mins later! I came through arrivals and not expecting my name to be called out ... A fellow team mate ran towards me and much excited shrieks and hugs occurred.
After honing down 4 other team members who were in the other terminal, we were soon greeting the rest of the squad at the hostel.
My picture for today is taken from our dorm room door ... Need I say anymore!
