I had a day of sorting today and came across this ...
I think we can all remember where we were on 9 / 11, I was in New York and was on my last bit of my summer adventure before travelling back to the UK. The last bit of the adventure turned out to be far crazier than I could ever have imagined. Being locked in an airport for nearly 48hrs, and getting the first plane out was possibly my most memorable travelling experiences, one never to be forgotten. I bought the magazine at the airport a couple of days after it happened.
What a trip taken down memory lane today ... to all my American friends who were affected my thoughts are with you.
The rest of my day was very productive, with usual chores or cleaning, washing and gardening. It was brightened up by a phonecall from a friend who was totally bubbling with joy and ideas of how to move forward. It was great to hear and I just let them burble away, as the previous day they were quite sad and in a downward spiral. My second happy moment was being presented with a marrow and a home grown corn on the cob (with its leaves and everything still on). I ate the corn for my tea and it was delicious ... Although an hour or two later I went a little hyper oooops! Corn and I have a happy hyper relationship at times :o)
With that I bid you adieu ... Tomorrow is a fitness day for me followed by a flight to the land of the lepracorns ... Time for some racing action to occur.
